2. Overview

apure.cloud is a digital asset platform we operate for our resellers, agents, press contacts and internal teams. This page explains what personal data we process when you visit the site or use an account, and why.

3. Hosting & server log files

This site is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Every request is automatically logged by our hosting infrastructure (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type, referring URL) for operating and securing the service. These logs are used only for technical and security purposes and are not merged with other data.

4. Session cookie

We use a single technically necessary session cookie (PHP session ID) to keep you logged in while you use the platform. It is deleted when you log out or close your browser and is not used for tracking or advertising. As it is strictly necessary for the site to function, no consent banner is shown for it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Account registration

To create an account you provide your first name, last name, email address, phone number and company; your password is stored as a one-way (bcrypt) hash, never in plain text. We use this data to set up and manage your account, verify your email address, and grant you access to the assets and areas relevant to your role (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures). Registration and admin-notification emails are sent to your address and to our internal team so we can review and support new accounts.

6. Usage activity (logged-in users)

While you are logged in, we record basic usage events tied to your account — logins, page views, file downloads, ZIP downloads and share-link creation — together with an approximate active-time duration. This is used to understand how the platform is used and to support our partners (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating and improving the service). This tracking only applies to authenticated users and never to anonymous visitors of public pages such as this one.

7. External resources (CDN)

Some pages load JavaScript/CSS libraries (e.g. Tailwind CSS, Tom Select, autoComplete.js) from third-party content delivery networks. Loading these resources causes your browser to connect to the respective provider, which may process your IP address to deliver the file. No apure account data is shared with these providers.

8. Data retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Share links created for ZIP downloads expire automatically after 30 days. Server log files are rotated by our hosting provider on a regular basis. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see below).

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in our Legal Notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
